How to remove stains:

PLASTIC PAINT:If the stain is fresh, dab with cold water. Removing old stains is very difficult, get in touch with a professional cleaning company.
MUD:Wait for it to dry and then vacuum
MUSTARD, MAYONNAISE, KETCHAP:Wipe first with 10% ammonia water, then with perchlorethylene. If necessary, shampoo.
COFFEE:If the stain is not removed by shampooing, dab with white spirit or 10% ammonia water.
VOMIT, URINE, FACES:Dab with a 50%-50% vinegar water solution and then shampoo.
SWEET, SYRUP, FRUIT JUICE:Blot with lukewarm water. If the stain persists, use thinner or perchlorethylene.
